For over thirty years, the University of Nebraska at Omaha has provided national and international leadership in promoting collaborative programming and scholarship related to Afghanistan. The Center for Afghanistan Studies at UNO exists to manage educational exchanges between Afghans and Americans, to collaborate with US academic, governmental, and private institutions to provide educational and developmental assistance to Afghanistan, and to inform Americans, particularly Nebraskans, about Afghanistan.
