Application Deadlines

Undergraduate Application Submission Deadlines are as follows*:


Fall Semester - July 1
Spring Semester - November 1
Summer Semester - May 1

Required Documents for Admission

1. Completed UNO International Undergraduate Application: When completing the application, please choose an undergraduate major. A list of programs and majors may be found here.

2. $45.00 Application Fee:You may pay the application fee with a credit card when completing an Online Undergraduate Application. The Credit Card Authorization Form may also be downloaded and returned to UNO.

 

3. Proof of English Proficiency (PEP)

4. Official Academic Records (transcripts) for all High Schools and/or Colleges Attended: If the last school of attendance was a college or university, you do not need to submit high school records. (The exception is for students choosing engineering as an undergraduate major.) UNO uses all credits earned, regardless of age, to determine admissibility. If transcripts are not issued in English, you must also submit certified English translations. Any authenticated copies must be verified by the school, governmental institution, or notary public.

5. Proof of Finances: F-1 or J-1 visa applicants or holders will also need to submit a completed UNO Financial Affidavit Form (download) and original bank statement to receive an I-20 or DS-2019.

6. Conditional Admission: Students without Proof of English Proficiency may consider admission into both the Intensive English Program (ILUNO) and an undergraduate program.

7. Scholarships: UNO offers scholarships to qualified international candidates. For more information, please visit Apply for scholarship.

8. School Transfer Form: Students entering UNO who currently have a I-20 or DS-2019 from another U.S. institution must also submit a School Transfer Form with their application materials.

* Dates listed pertain to students currently outside of the U.S. If you are a transfer student or in the U.S. for any reason, the application deadlines will be one month later than the dates listed above.
