The World Meets Here

The University of Nebraska at Omaha offers international students more than 200 high-quality academic programs and a diverse campus community, all located in a safe, affordable U.S. city. Over the past 40 years, UNO's international student population has grown to more than 1,700, representing 131 countries. These students add to the diversity of thought and cultural perspectives on UNO's campus, creating opportunities for meaningful international exchanges right here in Omaha. A young man from Saudi Arabia debates international policy with a sophomore from Wahoo, Nebraska; an aspiring entrepreneur from Japan meets executives at an Omaha-based Fortune 500 firm – these global exchanges change lives and, in turn, the world.
