International Student Housing
International students attending UNO can apply to live on-campus at University Village or Maverick Village located on the main campus or at Scott Village or Scott Hall located on the south campus. On-campus housing is limited, and students are served on a first-come, first-serve basis. Off-campus housing complexes that are within walking distance of the university include Capital Court, the Annex Apartments, and Crosswinds Apartments. - 12-month contract is $5,652 including utilities and furniture rental. The average monthly cost is $488. Rates subject to change.
University Village offers semi-private apartments that are just minutes away from the campus recreation center, the library, the cafeteria, and classrooms. Each apartment has four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full-service kitchen, and a dining/study area. Four students share each apartment.
The apartments are fully furnished with beds, desks, desk chairs, nightstands, chests of drawers, couch, chair, end tables, coffee tables, and dining table and chairs. The kitchens have a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and garbage disposal. There is wall-to-wall carpeting in the bedroom and living areas. Some first floor apartments may have wood laminate floors in the living room and hallways. All apartments have computer hook-ups. University Village also offers other conveniences for students: a clubhouse with big screen TV, study/computer rooms, on-site laundry facilities, planned events and activities, and on-site management staff.

Steps for applying to University Village (UV):
- E-mail Jennifer Stahl, International Student Advisor, at jstahl@unomaha.edu to ask if rooms are still available for the semester that you are arriving.
- Rooms are given to admitted students on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- If there are rooms available, you will be directed to complete the lease contract and pay the $250 deposit on-line at www.campushousing.com/uneb.
- After submitting the lease and $250 deposit, University Village will contact you to confirm you reservation.
- If you are unable to obtain a visa, the $200 deposit will be refunded in full.

Capitol Court is a privately owned residence hall located about 5 blocks from the UNO campus. The dorm-style rooms each have a private bath, a refrigerator, a desk & chair, a double bed, window coverings, lamps, a mirror, 2 chairs & a table. A long term lease is not required and all utilities are paid. The rooms are ready for private telephones, cable, and high-speed internet - at the resident's expense.
Capitol Court has a game room, vending machines, a coin-operated laundry, vacuum cleaners, and a communal kitchen. There are 130 people living in this facility, including 100 international students and scholars from 30 countries.
