Tired of that boring summer job?  Want to get paid to travel to Europe instead?

 

Three to four lucky IST students will have the chance to take a nine week course in “Global IT Project  Management,” with time split between Braunschweig, Germany and Innsbruck, Austria.

Utrecht Network International Summer School

"Borders of Europe: Inside-Outside"

Come study and discuss the issue of Europe’s borders with students from all over the world.


Since the fall of the Iron Curtain and the implementation of the European Union, the borders of Europe have shifted dramatically.  These issues have been fundamental to the project of reforming the EU treaties, and their importance is only underlined by global challenges. Sub-themes will include, defining European borders, territories and identities, the European foreign policy, security, human rights, trade and development, as well as cross border experiences.

Summer Program in Salamanca, Spain

Small Spanish grammer, conversation and history classes taugt by Spanish teachers and supervised by the UNO program director, Dr. Ana Carballal.

Students will live with a family for 4 weeks (June).  The estimated total cost of US $4,500 which includes: round trip transportation between Omaha and Salamanca (air,land); 3-6 UNO credits; room and board with three meals daily; courses in Salamanca; cultural days and weekend trips in and around Salamanca; $600 for personal expenses.  Financial aid is available through the UNO Financial Aid Office
