The University of Nebraska at Omaha offers international students more than 200 high-quality academic programs and a diverse campus community, all located in a safe, affordable U.S. city. Over the past 40 years, UNO's international student population has grown to more than 1,700, representing 131 countries. These students from around the world add to the diversity of thought and cultural perspectives on UNO's campus, creating opportunities for meaningful international exchanges right here in Omaha. International Studies & Programs
For UNO students, International Studies & Programs serves as their envoy to the world. The office manages a diverse set of projects and academic pursuits, from training teachers in Afghanistan to preparing native Nebraskans for a new world – a world digitally linked, partnered in trade, and demanding transnational solutions.
International Studies & Programs is responsible for UNO's International Admissions and Student Advising for international students and scholars.
