How to Apply

IPD seeks motivated professionals from diverse academic, business, social, ethnic, and geographic backgrounds. Participants are expected to share their unique experiences and perspectives with classmates. Acceptance into IPD will be determined on an individual basis, taking into account academic records, English language skills, and work experience.

Admission is selective and applicants are urged to apply as early as possible to ensure sufficient time for application review, visa application, and preparation. Applicants must:

  • Hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in any field.
  • Present a TOEIC score of 600, Internet-based TOEFL score of 52-55, or IELTS score of 5.5.

Apply early!

Admissions are made on a rolling basis; however, apply as early as possible to ensure adequate time for application review and visa procedures. Participants who are admitted but fail to complete visa arrangements prior to the session may defer enrollment to the next session. Applications should be submitted at least eight weeks before the start of the desired session.

2. Application fee

Pay the non-refundable $50 application fee. You can pay by credit card using the payment form on the application.

3. English test scores

Submit TOEIC, TOEFL, or IELTS test scores.

4. Resume

Submit a resume demonstrating your professional work history.

5. Financial information

Send a current bank statement that shows adequate funding in the account to cover the in-country costs for the eight-week program. Also complete the Financial Statement on the application.

6. Immigration and visa documents

All applicants must send a photocopy of their passport.

Applicants transferring from another school in the United States or from ILUNO Intensive English must also include copies of the following:

  • Form I-20
  • Current visa
  • Form I-94
  • Transcripts from your current school or ILUNO
